It has been said over and over by your doctors and health experts for years, you need to be drinking more water. This is absolutely true and essential, not only for excellent health, but also to facilitate the fat-burning process. Now it needs to be brought to your attention that, not only should you be drinking more water, but you should be drinking ice-cold water. Making this a habit will not only improve your health, but it produces a massive boost in your daily calories burned. The concept behind drinking cold water is very simple to understand, let us discuss it now so you can make complete sense of it all.

Our bodies are very warm by nature, and when something is introduced that disturbs this delicate temperature balance, the body has to work very hard to warm this up to keep everything in balance. In order to turn something that is very cold in to something that is very warm, a massive amount of energy must be used, as a result, our bodies tap into stored fat in order to gain the energy required to warm it up.

Thus, it makes sense that by simply drinking colder water instead of room temperature water throughout the day, we can burn plenty more calories and thus speed up weight loss. Simple tricks such as this will start to add up and when you can figure out a few small tricks that will do this, the amount of extra calories burned throughout the day can lead to massive weight loss over time.
